Global Blog School Coming in January 2012

This is a project I have been working toward for about seven months, and it's finally time to launch - Global Blog School. The premise goes back to when I started blogging. I was dead broke. I could not afford to buy a URL, pay for hosting and then take courses on "How To Blog". I could afford the URL and that was it. So, I've learned how to do everything that you can do for FREE on the Internet. And that knowledge will be showcased here with Global Blog School coming in January 2012.

The school will actually have two blogs and several websites. All will be linked together. I'm doing the coursework on this Blogger.com platform and on a Wordpress.com platform. I'm extremely proficient with Blogger, so this is the first phase to be nearly completed and ready to go for the new year.

Wordpress, I haven't used in quite a few years and it will take me a little time to get that site customized and working the way I want it to. But, I wanted to be able to instruct and answer questions about the two most popular FREE blog platforms.

Content will start from the very beginning - choosing a platform; then, move through layout, posting, pictures, etc. Everything you want to know about blogging will be on these two sites.

I'm also using Google Sites for forms, lists and other content that just won't fit on a blog. All of the sites will be linked to each other and have feeds and blog rolls from the other sites. You'll be able to see what's going on in every direction.

Publishing on the sites will be once or twice a week. I have my hands on about 20 blogs and websites right now, and these will only add to the load, but this is what I love doing. So, I never consider it work.

Plus, I want readers to have time to digest the content and not feel overwhelmed.

I'm looking forward to it. I hope you are, too.
